Information visitors provide
Visitors may provide information when sending an email, including their name, email address, message and any details they choose to include. Do not send payment-card details, passport copies or sensitive booking information to IslandQube.
Search and shortlist data
Search terms and filters can be processed in the visitor’s browser. A shortlist may be stored locally on the device using browser storage. This local preference is not a booking and can disappear when browser data is cleared.
Technical information
Like most websites, hosting and security systems may process IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, timestamps and error data. This supports delivery, reliability, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.
Property images and external services
Property photographs may be delivered from the Hotelbeds image host, and map links may open Google Maps. When a browser requests an external resource, that provider can receive technical information such as IP address and request details under its own privacy terms.
Cookies and analytics
The current prototype does not provide user accounts or payment processing. If analytics, tag management or additional cookies are introduced, this policy and any consent controls should be updated before deployment where required.
Purposes and legal bases
Information is used to answer enquiries, provide requested site features, remember local preferences, maintain security and improve accuracy. Depending on the context, processing may rely on consent, steps requested by the visitor, legitimate interests in operating a secure information service, or legal obligations.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Information may be handled by hosting, email, security or technical service providers as needed to operate the site, or disclosed when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a lawful business transfer.
Retention and security
Enquiry records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for response, administration, security or legal purposes. No method is completely secure, but reasonable organisational and technical safeguards should be used.
International use
The site can be accessed internationally. Service providers may process information in countries with different privacy laws. Appropriate safeguards should be used where applicable.
Choices and rights

Children
IslandQube is a general travel information service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children.
